“ON CHAIN”

“ON CHAIN” is a multi-media project that combines traditional and new age techniques to express the rapid evolution of the blockchain. The AR animation depicts the connection between networks built within the blockchain and the advancement of human communication. As BUIDLers, Creators, Community Managers, and Devs, we are working collaboratively to advance towards a more decentralized future. “ON CHAIN” represents the electricity of innovation, the velocity at which the Crypto world advances, and the complex networks we are building to connect the world. The eye in the piece represents accountability and transparency that the blockchain provides to make these transactions more equitable for all.

To create this large-scale painting, artist A.L. Grime (Ally Grimm) created a unique process involving both traditional and new age techniques. The process of this painting goes from AI > Digital Art > Traditional Painting > AI > AR + RFID. “On Chain” combines tools ranging from Adobe programs (AI, PS, AE) to traditional paint and various AI platforms to create a final product. To make it interactive, an RFID chip is placed behind the cursor over the word “FOLLOW” to link viewers to the full AR experience.
